Alex Metric & Charli XCX - End Of The World (Russ Chimes Remix)

U.K. producer Russ Chimes did a remix recently for Alex Metric and Charli XCX's track "End Of The World". The remix will be on the official release for the track, due out on August 15th via Positiva Records. Alex Metric also has his first album coming out on August 1st featuring of all his work from the last couple of years including his favorite remixes, and original tracks. M83 - Midnight City

M83, the electronic music project by French musician Anthony Gonzalez, has a new album coming out in October called Hurry Up, We're Dreaming. He recently released the first track, "Midnight City", for free download via his website and announced a full tour of North America this Fall in support of the new album. No dates in Dallas were announced, but he will be performing at the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin on the weekend of November 4-6. You can listen to the new track below.

Dan Sena - Candy Floss Art Capitalist

Former Bullet Train To Vegas frontman Dan Sena released a new EP yesterday on Dim Mak Records called Candy Floss Art Capitalist. You can find guest appearances by Del The Funky Homosapien and Kylee Swenson of the band Loquat on the standout track "Song Of Siren". Be sure to pick up the new EP on iTunes and Beatport. Opiuo - Robo Booty (De La Vaughan Remix)

Here is the debut track from De La Vaughan. Back in November of last year, Dallas locals Hunter Vaughan and Justin Vaughan teamed up to spin the opening slot for Boombox and Nadis Warriors. Their bass driven set consisting of glitch hop, down tempo, and dubstep won many over by the time it was done. Now, they have produced their debut track and entered it in to the Robo Booty Remix Contest for Opiuo. Below you can listen to the new track, along with their first DJ set from last year.

Bon Iver- Perth (D.V.S* Remix)

Here is a fantastic remix by Brooklyn based producer/guitarist D.V.S* a.k.a. Derek VanScoten. The song of choice was "Perth" by the beloved indie-folk band Bon Iver. D.V.S* has been on the road over the last year, winning over fans with his live show where he creates live remixes using looped electronic beats and a live guitar. You may have seen him on tour with the likes of Big Gigantic, Lotus, and EOTO. Enjoy the new remix below.

Monarchy - Maybe I'm Crazy (Azari & III Remix)

Toronto production duo Azari & III have put out a new remix of Monarchy's track "Maybe I'm Crazy" off their latest album Around The Sun. Azari & III also put out a new single recently called "Manic" on Loose Lips Records. The single was officialy remixed by Finger Prince, which will be released on August 7th. Bassnectar - Divergent Spectrum

Bassnectar has a new album coming out titled Divergent Spectrum. Recently he put out a preview for the entire album, along with a couple of full radio edits. The focus of the album are many of the tracks heard by concert goers during his Winter 2010 and Spring 2011 tours, along with unreleased tracks. Many tracks on the album are remixes and collaborations with artists such as Ellie Goulding, Gogol Bordello, Jantsen, and ill.Gates. If you plan on seeing Bassnectar live during his upcoming Fall tour, expect to hear many of these tunes. The album will be released August 2, 2011 through his label Amorphous Music. Neon Indian has just released a new video teaser off the forthcoming album Era Extraña. The video, like its previous installment, was shot in Helsinki by Austin filmmaker Sean Lopez. This song is the second installment of what will be a three part instrumental on the new album, which will be released September 13th on a number of labels including Alan Palomo's own Static Tongues imprint (via Mom + Pop Music), Transgressive, Pop Frenzy, and Big Nothing. Neon Indian also announced a fall tour in support of the new album, which includes a stop here in Dallas on September 24th at The Granada Theater. Mavado - Delilah (Diplo Remix)

Today, Mad Decent head honcho Diplo released a nice remix of Mavado's "Delilah". Mavado is a Jamaican musician, actor, DJ, and producer who has been very successful in his home country ever since his debut single, "Real McKoy", was released in 2004. Diplo, on the other hand, has been very busy as of late. He has released a new Major Lazer remix, along with collaborations with Douster and Dillon Francis. Chromeo are releasing a new remix EP for "When The Night Falls", off their latest album Business Casual. In support of the new EP, they are embarking on a near 2-month long tour which will kick off right here in Dallas on September 14th at the House Of Blues with Mayer Hawthorne. The EP features remixes from Breakbot, Hercules & Love Affair, Lifelike, plus a cover from their tourmate Mayer Hawthorne. CSS - Hits Me Like A Rock (Dillon Francis Remix)

So recently Dillon Francis made a moombahton remix for CSS's "Hits Me Like A Rock". An incorrect version of the track was prematurely leaked all over the internet, so Dillon decided to go ahead and release the correct version for free download last week. The song is super catchy, and falls right in line with all the other fantastic remixes and orginals Dillon has made within this emerging genre. Expect Dillon Francis to continue to take moombahton to the next level this year with more original tracks and remixes. You can download the new remix below.

Sorry for the lack of updates, I have been on vacation with limited web access. I have a new remix from Aeroplane of Processory's track "Nightfall".
