Tonight, Rio Room in Dallas has brought in The Magician and Plastic Plates for a night of electronic disco music. Plastic Plates is an Australian producer who has gained a following after being commissioned to do official remixes for the likes of Adele, Sia, Body Language, and The Human League, among others. The Magician has gotten attention not only from being a former member of nu-disco duo Aeroplane, but also from his popular Magic Tape monthly mix series. He has also produced several original solo tracks and remixes. His latest remix is of the song "Hollywood" by RAC and featuring Penguin Prison, which was recently released for free via Green Label Sound.
